An intuitive artist whose style has developed from painting contemporary seascapes and landscapes (using either mixed media, oils, or pastels) to fantastical woodlands and lighthearted cats in watercolour.

"As an artist my work is still inspired by the changing colours, textures and patterns of nature - probably as a result of having been brought up in the wilds of Northumberland and also because of living on the east coast of the Scottish highlands for 16 years!
You might also guess from the News and Events page that I'm rather fond of cats!

   
  When I'm not painting I make greetings cards and bookmarks (using my own images or by painting and mark making); original pieces of jewellery out of recycled vintage pieces or found and then tumbled bits of glass, table top print cradles, spectacles cases, secret book safes, tissue box covers, light-dancers and mini-pin cushions.

As a photographer, I enjoy capturing close up images of all sorts, bits of nature and quirky subjects!"
